Through many years of struggling with insecurity and fear, God used music as a way to draw Cheri to Himself and grab a hold of her heart. In the process, she was transformed from a terrified girl to a Spirit led woman. God’s changing touch is visible upon her heart, life and music.

Believing that God uses music as a unique way of speaking to our hearts and drawing us to Himself, Cheri strives to offer songs that invite us to personally encounter Jesus for the first time or in a fresh new way. Driven by the awesome, unchanging love of God, she challenges her listeners to move on to the next level in their faith, knowing that true freedom and change can only be obtained through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Cheri is a self taught pianist and guitarist who draws inspiration from her own personal times with God as well as from everyday life experiences to compose honest, reflective songs that encourage growing faith and worship. Her unique combination of scripture and melody teach and present God’s word as true and living instructions for life. She is passionate about the Word of God and desires to teach and “feed” people the truths she has discovered there. She offers her listeners hope and leaves them holding onto the promises found only in the Word of God.

This wife, mother, musician and writer desires to use music to paint a picture of the many facets involved in a personal relationship with Jesus. She’s not afraid to be honest and transparent in her lyrics hoping that it will free others to be that way with God and each other. Cheri has a heart to minister to people of all ages and openly shares from her life journey using personal stories and songs.

Lyrics

Come Away

Your armor’s rusting from the tears you’ve cried
From behind the battle lines
Against an enemy beyond your size

Though you’re tired and the battle’s long
This is right where you belong
In your weakness I will make you strong

Come away with me
Let me hold you awhile
Lay your broken heart in my hands
You are safe within the boundary of my love
Won’t you come away?

Your fainting heart just wants to give it up
Fear declares you’ve had enough
It’s not human to remain so tough

So afraid to take a safe retreat
That is might proclaim defeat
But your strength is waiting here with me

Come away with me
Let me hold you awhile
Lay your broken heart in my hands
You are safe within the boundary of my love
Won’t you come away?

Come near to me, I’ll come near to you
Come near to me and I will come near to you (repeat)

Come away with me
Let me hold you awhile
Lay your broken heart in my hands
You are safe within the boundary of my love
Won’t you come away?

In The Shadow
(Psalm 63:7)

Umbrella over my spirit
As steady raindrops fall
Endless love jumpstarts my heartbeat
The minute the flat-line calls

Promises gently lead me
Safely away from fear
Quietness calms my wonder
Hidden joy replaces my tears

I am singing in the shadow
Singing in the shadow
Singing in the shadow of your wings
I am singing in the shadow of your wings

Forgiveness bestowed so freely
Releases my soul to find
Peaceful sounds echoing around me
Protected leaving all else behind

I am singing in the shadow
Singing in the shadow
Singing in the shadow of your wings
I am singing in the shadow of your wings

You Alone Are My Rock
(Psalm 62)

Chorus
You alone are my Rock
My faithful Rescuer
My strong Defense
And Mighty Fortress
Oh, I am no longer afraid (repeat)

Here in the midst of the loud crashing waves
I am standing still
I know I am safe

There is no limit or boundary
To your awesome power
You claim every space

Chorus
You alone are my Rock
My faithful Rescuer
My strong Defense
And Mighty Fortress
Oh, I am no longer afraid

Caught in the eye of the storm once again
I’m protected
And never alone

Gratefully, I offer praise to you
For the amazing way
You care for your own.

Chorus
You alone are my Rock
My faithful Rescuer
My strong Defense
And Mighty Fortress
Oh, I am no longer afraid

She is sought after to lead worship in numerous churches and has an active ministry singing for women’s events and retreats. Erica’s music has been sung in worship services, outdoor festivals and children’s choirs. Her worship concerts have taken her from California to other states and even the Philippines.

At the age of five Erica began playing the piano and singing for others. She received a Masters Degree in piano performance and was widely featured as a solo pianist. In recent years her musical gifts have been focused on song writing, leading worship and her recording projects. Erica’s ministry is grounded and fueled by her service at her home fellowship, Discovery Church, Simi Valley, CA where she serves as part of the worship team.

This year Erica released her sophomore project “Devoted.” This collection of worship songs and personal expressions of faith reflects the life of ministry God has given her. Erica lives in Southern California with her family.

“The kind of energy and spirit you bring to worship refreshes my spirit. You regularly lead me into the presence of God.” Bob Coppock, Associate Pastor, Simi Valley Presbyterian Church, Simi Valley, CA

“Erica Dean’s songwriting, singing, conducting and overall musical ministry radiates spiritual joy, passion and true knowledge of scripture. The sessions, done at Nashville’s Sweetbriar Studios with the noted A & R/production team of Shay Watson and Joe Nash of Watson & Nash fame, is Rommel’s best material to date by far, and will inevitably put the versatile singer and songwriter on the Christian rock-pop map in the not too distant future.

The New York-based Rommel, who performs regularly at various major events throughout the Northeast including NASCAR races, teamed up earlier this year to write and record the songs for Watson. Watson, a music guru with proven successes working with artists like Sonicflood, Word Record’s Sidewalk Prophets, Switchfoot’s Jon Foreman, and DC Talk’s Michael Tait and James Clay, is one of Nashville’s sure-bet producers.

Choose to Fly, a riveting five-song EP, showcases the very best of Rommel’s ability. The artist, soft-spoken by nature, but a fiery singer with tremendous range, makes even the most challenging vocal tracks come off sounding effortless and exhilarating. Years of training and refinement have enabled her to write and deliver songs that illuminate her ability to pull off highly emotional subject matter with aplomb.

This ability becomes evident when Rommel performs live and the bigger the arena the better. Her most recent appearances have been for NASCAR, where she enjoyed the opportunity to sing “The Star Spangled Banner” at seven different races for millions of viewers live on major network television, including NBC, ABC and TNT. Kristine, a Coast Guard veteran of more than a decade, also performed for the Intrepid Foundation Dinner honoring Governor Eliot Spitzer, as well as many other large and small ceremonial events, all while representing her country and woman in the military.

Rommel has a bright future as an artist and performer. Choose to Fly, with its all-original content, is the first of many times you’ll be hearing Rommel’s distinctive voice and musical style.

Lyrics

Choose To Fly

I believe in miracles some things can’t be explained away
I believe in mysteries they make us search for more
I believe in happy endings I believe in dreams
I believe love helps us see what we never saw before

We are shooting stars across an open sky
We were given wings but we have to CHOOSE TO FLY
Through the ups and downs/Between the lows and highs
We can leave the ground only if we CHOOSE TO FLY

I believe in heartbreak when it moves you closer to love
I believe in tragedy when it strengthens your soul
I believe good comes to those who wait I believe to live is a choice we make
I believe that fear can sometimes force you to grow

I don’t believe in failure when you learn from your mistakes
I don’t believe in weakness when there’s strength that can be gained
I don’t believe in giving up, I don’t believe in losing love
I believe we can soar, the choice is ours to make

Falling Into You
By Jay Carlin/Kristine Rommel/Shay Watson

Walking a Tightrope between dark and light, black and white
Gravity reaches out to bring me down again
Balancing who I am, what I claim to be, with humanity
A child of forgiveness, stumblin’ with each step

This girl of Doubt and Fear
Is Calling out your name

I Stand so tall but INSIDE I FALL
I’m FALLING INTO YOU, I’m FALLING INTO YOU
Into a higher place into the arms of grace
I’m falling, I’m FALLING INTO YOU

Climbing this staircase of a new day, into your grace
Fighting to rise (above) where I was before
My heart is racing, as I run to you, what else can I do?
I find myself diving into your love once more

Full of Hope and Faith
I’m Calling out your name

I’m falling into you – when temptation comes and knocks me off of my feet
I’m falling into you – when I’m standing strong Lord right where you want me
I’m falling into you – to be lifted higher than I could ever be

I Wanna Know

I walk alone in this world of darkness
It’s the only life that I’ve known
Not really sure
What will come tomorrow?
It all seems out of control

What is this light?
They are talking about
Who sets these prisoners free?
What is this love that is reaching out?
I wanna know
Is it real?

I wanna know
What it means to be alive
I wanna know
How it feels to be free
I wanna know
Who is this Jesus Christ?
That he would die for me
Yeah… he would die for me

No where to run
When my sky is falling
There’s no one holding my hand
No where to turn
When the devil comes calling
Cant find no shelter in man
hmmm

What is this light?
They are talking about
Who sets these prisoners free?
What is this love that is reaching out?
I wanna know
Is it real

I wanna know
What it means to be alive
I wanna know
How it feels to be free

Abe and Liza Philip’s mission is to write songs and hymns with depth and passion. This couple is a husband and wife songwriting team who write modern hymns and songs that feed both the heart and the mind. Written for the church and for personal worship, their musically diverse songs are saturated with Scripture, centered on the cross of Christ and focused on the beauty and glory of God. Dive deep into the riches of the faith with music that comforts, challenges, and moves your heart with wonder.

Sharing about their lives in their own words:

We left behind a more comfortable life years ago when we decided to give our lives to writing songs and hymns from Scripture that celebrate the Gospel and teach the faith for the global church and for personal worship.

We began songwriting from the moment we met back in 1998. More than ten years later, we now have three wonderful kids, Zach, Zoe and Faith, and live in the Chicagoland area. Though we were both musical from childhood, what’s truly miraculous is that we didn’t meet in a musical context. We both had health care backgrounds and never knew that God had always intended for us to write songs together. And “together” is the operative word! Almost every song or hymn seems to require the other person if it’s ever going to be finished. And for us, having both a male and female perspective in a song or hymn almost always results in something far richer and more balanced than it would have been otherwise.

In an age of self-worship and fluff, there is a desperate need for songs and hymns that are God-centered, truth-driven and emotionally compelling. We don’t always reach that lofty goal, but we know where to look. It’s not gazing within to our imperfect, wandering hearts but rather looking outward to the flawless, eternal Word. In everything we write, we take Jesus at His word when He said “the truth will set you free.”

Almost every song you hear from us is either directly from a single passage of the Bible or weaves together deeply interconnected Scriptural references. We hope you’ll find this music to be a helpful way to memorize, meditate deeply and be profoundly changed by the riches of God’s very words.

There is a song no ear has heard
Soars like thunder to the Word
Angels sing, Alleluia
Saints and kings bow down in awe

There is a love no mind has known
Nailed to a cross to save His own
Hail through all the universe
Christ has broken Eden’s curse

There is a day now drawing near
On glorious clouds, He shall appear
Joy of every longing heart
We will see the face of God

My righteousness is not my own
In Christ I stand before the throne
And if my heart with guilt is filled
My Savior’s love is greater still

Though I deserve the wrath of God
He washed me in the Savior’s blood
How great my sins that He was killed
My Savior’s love is greater still

Riches and honor I disdain
For all this passing world is vain
If earthly dreams were all fulfilled
My Savior’s love is greater still

Through many trials I must go
Until He brings me safely home
The cup of sorrows may be filled
My Savior’s love is greater still

And when I walk on streets of gold
What wonders will my eyes behold
Through endless glory, come what will
My Savior’s love is greater still

Too long have I forgotten, Lord
O breathe in me that I might live
By every word of life You give

O teach my heart to fear Your Word
Your holy fire and lifted sword
That comes to pierce through flesh and bone
And melt away this heart of stone

O teach my heart to know Your Word
And treasure all that I have heard
O raise this everlasting seed
To bear the fruit of Christ in me

O teach my heart to trust Your Word
When troubles rise and fears are stirred
To walk by faith through gain or loss
And glory only in the Cross

Made flesh and blood in Christ our Lord
On every page His praise is heard

Artist

For many years, Kiersten Venezia has been watching and listening to the hearts of people. What she’s witnessed through others and that of her own life is that we’re all longing for a place to belong and feel loved. She came to know Jesus Christ as an adult and has seen this longing just as prevalent in the church as outside it’s protective walls. Through her music, she has a passion to speak into hearts the message that God is good and He longs to know us.

Kiersten was exposed to music from a very early age. Being the daughter of a drummer and a long line of musicians, music was everywhere. While she tried her hand at different instruments and genres over the years, it wasn’t until her 30’s when God started shaping a course for her to share her music with a larger audience.

She produced her first album, “Good Promises” in 2005. Within six months of the release, she was invited to share the stage with ZoeGirl as their opening act in St. Louis, her hometown. She has since written songs for SSM Health Care, been featured on local TV and radio shows, lead worship and performed for thousands of people around the nation.

But what really moves Kiersten is seeing God change lives through His redemptive love. Her album “Back to Eden”, released in the Spring of 2009, is about the power of God’s unrestrained beauty and goodness to release the death grip that sin and shame can have in our hearts. She writes songs that are infused with the message that Christ is our hope of glory and He will meet us in the midst of our tragedies to show His healing grace. Her songwriting is personal and honest, taking the listener on a journey through her stories of trials, faith, and surrender. She wants to come along side the hurting and point them to the One who can make it all right. With a heart for those in and out of the church, young and old, rich and poor, Kiersten’s music will continue to cross barriers and speak of God’s loving kindness to all.

Kiersten has teamed up with Children’s Hope and through your church, we can help you bring life-saving surgeries to a Chinese child desperately in need through Orphan Music Ministry. I am an adoptive parent to a child who was a special needs orphan from China.
Lyrics

She Gets Grace
©2007 Adonis Blue Music

Too many years,
too many memories
that haunt her as she passes the playground.
Choice after choice,
made out of fear.
Now she’s left with just regret for what she’s done.
She can’t go back
And fix her wrongs
So she prays that she could somehow be forgiven.

Chorus
She gets Grace
An undeserved blessing from above
Favor from the maker of true love
She gets Grace
Another chance to live and love again
A little life to help her comprehend
She gets Grace

Far, far away,
Orphaned and afraid
There’s a little girl she’s waiting to bring home.
Grace will be her name,
What once was lost is found
Two lives forever changed;
A perfect picture of God’s love.

Tag
We’ve all been called as sons and daughters
Children of our Holy Father
Righteous by the sacrifice
Of our Savior Jesus Christ
We get grace….
Like she gets Grace.

When my living days are over
Will I read the writing on the wall?
Will I be weighed and found wanting,
Neglecting what you gave me
Misusing it instead?

Fear is lurking at my doorway
Trying hard to break it down.
Apathy slowly suffocating.
It stays with my permission,
But it’s welcome’s wearing thin.

Chorus
I wanna live life on purpose,
No more wasted days.
I wanna live life on purpose,
And not squander it away.
I wanna live life on purpose,
Put Your glory on display.
‘Cause you have more, abundantly more, for this life.

I know my life’s not accidental
I was created for God’s plan.
In His providence He chose me
To go and tell His story
In every way I can.

Bridge
I don’t wanna miss my calling
Or fade into the background noise.
This casual existence will not change the world.
I wanna live a life that matters
And break out of this comfort zone,
Starting right now.

Back To Eden
©2005 Adonis Blue Music

Clutching his note in her hands
She didn’t have the strength to understand
Twenty years and forty pounds ago
He looked in her eyes
And promised not to leave
But now he’s gone and she begins to cry

Bring me back to Eden
Bring me back where all was right
Bring me back where there’s no fear and no one needs to hide
Bring me back to Eden
Bring me back to paradise
Bring me back where sorrow, pain, and tears are out of sight
Bring me back to Eden

Pigtails and pink overalls
Her laugh still lingers in their halls
Friends say that time heals all wounds
But time’s standing still
Exposing all their pain
There’s nothing left that they can do but cry

Bridge
All this hurt and pain around us
How can we ever make it through
Take me to the place where I find
Your beauty and grace
Where I once walked alone with you

“Voices” is an extension of various high schools in the greater Sacramento community. This is a multi-cultural gospel choir under the direction and leadership of J’on Harris, Sr. This group represents a vast cultural diversity spanning four continents, eight languages, and seventeen countries world-wide. Voices incorporates youths and young adults throughout the Sacramento community who have been converted. This group of high energy gospel enthusiast combine swelling harmonies and animated choreography to offer a presentation of spiritual worship that has penetrated the hearts of audiences throughout this country.

This group has recorded gospel singles and two full-length CDs. Their most recent release “Another Level”, this time produced under the label of Franklin Record Productions, is an album inspired to break down the denominational barriers. This project is expected to receive consistent rotation on the local FM 103.5 KBMB “Gospel Express” as their previous release “CHANGE” continues to receive requests every week.

In the summer of 2003 this group embarked on their first “Takin’ Back Our Streets Tour” which was a 21 day journey across America. From Sacramento they traveled in vans to Reno, NV; Salt Lake City, UT; Akron OH; New York, NY; Durham, NC; and Bridgeport, CT among many other places. The students were able to meet and fellowship with some of the gospel industries greatest including: Pastor John P. Kee, Norman Hutchins, Pastor Shirley Caesar and Hezekiah Walker. This faith-based tour encouraged them to continue their cross country ministry and since then they have taken a step of faith every summer just to be a part of these annual tours. This has led to hundreds of appearances in venues nationwide. This group plans to share their gift for many years to come both here and abroad and will stop at nothing to fulfill the vision they have set their hearts on.

(Chorus)
I know that prayer, changes things
I know that prayer, changes things
I know that prayer, changes things
I know that prayer, changes things

(Verse One)
Weeping endures for a night, but joy’s gonna come in the morning time
Prayer changes things

(Chorus)

(Verse Two)
Dry your weeping eyes, don’t cry nomore my child
Prayer changes things

(Chorus)

Changes things, changes things…

No Turning Back

(Verse One)
My heart has been broken, and I’ve suffered so much pain
See, I’ve seen days of sorrow and I’ve seen days of rain
But I made up in my mind, that I would stand until the end
I’m gonna stay right, if I gotta lose my closest friend

(Chorus)

(Verse Two)
Today I decided to put my trust in you
Even though the times are hard, and my friends are few
See I’ve been down this road before, and I messed up the first time
I’m not gonna make the same mistake, I’m gonna get it right

(Chorus)
I made a promise, I won’t give up
I’m going all the way, all the way with you
Jesus with you
I’ll make it all the way, all the way ooh
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh
I made a promise, no turning back

Mela Kamin (may-luh kay-min), struggled to step out of the box she put herself in, as a busy Mom of three. Educated as a journalist and intensely creative, she was longing to find a purpose that not only used her talents, but moved her. She filled herself up with her kids, volunteering and dabbling in other creative pastimes. But when she found her voice and the faith to use it, she finally found what she was looking for.

In 2008, on the prompting of a friend, she decided to use her skills in writing and love for music, to step out in faith as a singer/songwriter. It started with one song, one opportunity, one door divinely opened by an amazing God. One of those doors revealed Carl Herrgesell and together with friend & Co-Producer Dan Needham, they co-wrote and arranged the songs on her debut Summer in My Soul in 2009.

As a former writer, editor and communications consultant, Mela was immediately comfortable on stage and skilled in delivering a message to varying audiences. She feels blessed to have the opportunity to travel to churches, women’s ministry events, retreats, Moms’ groups and prayer gatherings, to encourage people to use their gifts in service to others.

Mela’s lyrics are heartfelt, poignant and speak to the discoveries she’s made as she’s uncovering her God-given gifts and walking in obedience where He leads.

Whenever I fall
Whenever I need a friend
Whenever I’m near the end
I Pray

When life is enough
The future is hard to see
I fall down to my knees
I pray

It’s your voice I need inside of me
I believe your hand is guiding me
All I wanna be is near to you

When the hurt is too much
All I wanna do is cry
You hear what I try to hide
When I pray

When life is so sweet
Your mercy falls down on me
My heart is filled with thanks
I pray

It’s your voice I need inside of me
I believe your hand is guiding me
All I wanna be is near to you

It seems like every time I think I’ve seen it all
the thunder comes right back and then the rains fall
Sometimes I step out – remember who I’ve been
the ground beneath me falls, I’m on my knees again

And God said, “Remember who I am. And, don’t
forget the grace by which you stand. I have heard
you crying in the night. Tell the storm you belong
to me.”

You Belong, you belong to me

And even when it’s calm – I know I need your care.
In a moment wind may swell and then I’m worrying.
My burdens get the best of me, drowning in anxiety.
Oh, God would you notice me down here.

And God said, “Remember who I am. And, don’t
forget the grace by which you stand. I have heard
you crying in the night. Tell the storm you belong
to me.”

Let the rains comes
Let the winds blow
I cry out to you
You’re my shelter
You’re my refuge
You are greater, you are greater, ‘cuz you said

“Remember who I am. And, don’t
forget the grace by which you stand. I have heard
you crying in the night. Tell the storm you belong -
tell the storm you belong to me.”

Performing before 50,000 as the lead singer for the renowned New York Ragtime Orchestra at Japan’s Osaka Dome in 2004 as part of an international tour, Marie had little idea of the new chapter God was about to unfold. Her voice had been described as a “national treasure” — an international singer whose performing career sent her to more than thirty countries and who enjoyed success living in Manhattan as an “in demand” singer in the Broadway community — and rave coast to coast reviews accompanied her on the National Tour of “Annie” directed by the show’s lyricist, Martin Charnin, where she played the role of Grace Farrell. She originated the role of Elena in the world premiere of the riveting, critically acclaimed new off-Broadway musical “Berlin.” But new winds were blowing, and when she and her husband, Gordy, felt God’s leading to release their first Christian CD “Dancer to the Drum” in the fall of 2004, they had little inkling that this recording would be wildly successful (endorsed by Tower Records among many others) and propel them to receive invitations to sing for churches, Christian conventions, Bible Conferences and Christian colleges all over the United States.

Marie’s life-long love of singing and acting from a young age led her to Pepperdine University, and since graduating in musical theater, she has performed extensively in North America, Europe, and Asia as a guest soloist with orchestras and operas to lead roles in musical theater, delighting huge crowds and receiving accolades from Scotland to Japan, California to New York and everywhere in between. To highlight a few, Marie has been seen in roles which include Laurey in “Oklahoma”, Julie Jordan in “Carousel”, Maria in “West Side Story”, Eliza in “My Fair Lady” and Sarah Brown in “Guys And Dolls. In Las Vegas, Marie has made her mark as a leading soloist and musical theater actress, performing arias and art songs in the Venetian Hotel and Casino, and with the Las Vegas Opera Guild. She headlined the top Vegas musical theater venues such as Southern Nevada Musical Arts Society (leading several Gilbert and Sullivan productions), Red Rock Summer Theater, and Signature Productions. She has been the highlighted lead singer for posh cruise lines such as Carnival, Norwegian, and Disney. She is a member of Actor’s Equity Association; past teachers include Mark Planner, Giorgio Tozzi, and the Late, Great, Sir Dr. Roger Wagner.

To sing for churches and Christian audiences has remained a lifelong dream that is now being fulfilled. Though she calls New York City her second home, Marie now lives full time with her husband and record producer Gordy Martin in Elizabethtown, PA where they are combining their talents in music ministry. Marie and Gordy are committed Christians, and their love of God overflows in their concerts of praise that they are now conducting all over the United States at churches, concert halls, retreats and Bible conferences and Christian conventions.

Marie’s vocal artistry, expertise in modern as well as classical styles, and graceful elegance puts her in demand as a guest soloist throughout the United States…and Gordy’s talents are her perfect compliment.

©Gordy Martin

He who dwells in the shelter of the Lord most high,
He will abide in the shadow of almighty God.
My refuge and my fortress – my God in whom I trust –
I will abide in the shadow of almighty God.

So let me live in your shelter with your angels from above.
I will call and you will answer with your healing and your love.
By your grace let me abide, the shelter of most high.
I will not fear a dark night’s terrors or the slings that fly by day.
I will abide in the shadow of almighty God.

So let me live in your shelter with your angels from above.
I will call and you will answer with your healing and your love.
So let me live in your shelter with your angels from above.
‘Cause I will call – you will answer with your healing and your love.
By your grace let me abide, the shelter of most high.
He who dwells in the shelter…

I will sing these words in a humble attempt to praise you – I want to praise you.
I will raise my hands in a humble attempt to praise you – my heart longs to praise you.
These expressions of praise are all I know –
I will bow on my knees to let you know
In your presence, Lord, is where I want to be.
When I kneel I feel your arms around me.
When I kneel before you, Lord, you heal me.
As the world around me fades away at your feet I will remain.
Oh Lord, your presence is so real when I kneel.
I will lift my voice in a humble attempt to praise you – my heart longs to praise you.
I will lift my hands in a humble attempt to praise you – Lord, I want to praise you.
These expressions of praise are all I know -
I will bow on my feet to let you know
In your presence, Lord, is where I want to be…

Grace pouring forth like a fountain flowing -
Our hearts open wide to sing your praise.
And our sound becomes sweet like an anthem ringing -
Praise to the name of the Lord.
Sing Allelu, sing allelu,
We rejoice in your love most high!
Sing Allelu, sing allelu,
In your light you shine forever,
Shine in us, Oh Lord, forever,
We’re the light to the world, Allelu!
Let us who are afraid find shelter in Christ
And redemption assured in His name.
By day and by night we delight in your love
And forever your Word will remain.
Sing Allelu, sing allelu,
We rejoice in your love most high!
Sing Allelu, sing allelu,
In your light you shine forever,
Shine in us, Oh Lord, forever,
We’re the light to the world, Allelu!

A style of her own, mixing contemporary, pop, worship, Lexi KNOWS that it is a gift that has been given to her. As her music evolves, Lexi’s style continues to diversify. Lexi uses her voice to bring Jesus closer to herself, and reach out to those who feel empty and lost. At the age of 11 she boldly told her parents “I want to show my generation Jesus through music”. Immediately she started bringing kids to church to join her in worshiping Jesus. Teens that would have never experienced Jesus, would now have an opportunity through music. Her soon to be released EP “Tear Down These Walls”, describes a teen’s life in the midst of pain, and the pressures they face.

In Lexi’s own words, “I find beauty in everything. I’m madly in love with my Savior. And yes, I am the girl who will write about the things in life that are “put in the closet, or dared not to be spoken of. I believe God is using me to set our generation’s eyes back to Him, and I’m more than ready to Tear Down These Walls.”

Lyrics

Follow
Written by Lexi Elisha

Lay my life down at the feet of the king
I surrender to you all of me
I cry out I can’t do this by myself
But I can follow

You took me into, into the heavenly place
I watched the life I lived, as it flashed before my face
Death I deserved but his blood changed everything
I am following

Chorus
I will follow you
Set this generation’s heart on fire
We will not be moved
We are running back to you

Saw your fingertips paint our big blue sky
When you looked at me I saw dancing in your eyes
O Lord we are rising up
We are chasing after you

Bridge
We are following, we are following, we are following you

Tear Down These Walls
Lyrics and Music by Lexi Elisha

Look at us now was it worth it, was it worth this
Wish somehow we could take it all back
We could erase the pain inside
O it’s time, Lord hear us

Chorus
Tear down these walls
Give it all give it all to you
I’m letting go open my heart, I’m starting over

Took my hand told me I’m worth it
Gave me a second chance
You helped me up, I held on tight
Wiped the tears from my eyes

Loved me so much I don’t know why
Gave me back my life
Threw the past away came in on time
Now I realize, Lord hear us

Chorus
Tear down these walls
Give it all give it all to you
I’m letting go open my heart, I’m starting over

Bridge
We’re gonna fight this fight
We’re gonna win tonight
Lord hear us say

Belinda Jane utilizes the media of both music and speech to bring the light of the gospel to the stage. Family, though, comes first to this music sage. From the early beginnings, she brought an “edge” to her contemporary genre. “The music I write is multi-faceted, musically eclectic but with transcending vocals.” states Belinda Jane.
Verse 1
Flesh of Your flesh, bone of Your bone.
Sent from on High, sent from Your home
Your One, Your Own.
Sent to a girl, afraid and alone
To be flesh of Your flesh, bone of Your bone.
Your One, Your Own
Your Son, her own.
Our God chose such a birth.

Chorus
To fill the eyes of the earth
With the hope of new birth.
And in each heart to place
The work of His grace.
This offering of love
Was poured from above;
To fill the arms of His mother
With a love like none other;
And the heart of His father with an unending joy.
This one baby boy,
The Joy of the World!

Verse 2
Flesh of your flesh, bone of your bone.
Gift from on high, Sent from your home
To be your own.
Sent from a girl, afraid and alone,
Flesh of her flesh, bone of her bone.
Her one, your own.
Love found her home.
Our God chose such a birth.

Chorus 2
To fill the eyes of her earth
With a gem beyond worth,
And in each heart to place
The work of new grace.
This offering of love
Was poured from above;
To fill their hearts ever after
With the peals of her laughter,
And the arms of her mother
With a love like none other,
And the heart of her father with an unending joy.
This one baby girl, the joy of their world!

One holy night a child was born
The son of God and He came to give us life
A star grew bright, the wise men came
And all of earth would never be the same

Precious and Holy Jesus the One who was fortold
Wonderful Savior, Prince of Peace, lover of my soul

One holy night heaven came down
To light the way, He came to bring us joy
The angels sang, wonders proclaimed
And all of earth would never be the same
