Editor’s Letter, July 2008
The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and I am helped. My heart leaps for joy and I will give thanks to him in song. (Psalm 28:7)
Have you ever thought about what it means that the Lord is our shield? A shield is a protective weapon, it takes the arrows aimed at the warrior. I picture the Lord placing Himself between me and the enemy, taking the fiery darts intended to destroy me. All I have to do is stay behind Him!
