Praise be to the Lord, to God our Savior, who daily bears our burdens. Selah (Psalm 68:19 )
This is such a beautiful verse. I’ve been familiar with “cast your cares upon the Lord” and “Come to me all you who are heavy laden and I will give you rest,” but here’s a new slant on these themes. The word that leaps from the page for me is “daily.” The Lord doesn’t just help lighten the load once in a while, but always. Have you thanked Him for bearing your burden today?
